Fiddler2 v2.0.9 now available

Version 2.0.9.0 of Fiddler2 has been released.

More explicit http errors on malformed response.
Support for HTTPS connection reuse
Support for upstream HTTPS gateway
Check for oSesssion["x-no-decrypt"] flag on HTTPS CONNECT sessions; if present, traffic in CONNECT is not decrypted
Fixed persistence of IgnoreServerCertErrors setting
Added FiddlerObject.UI.ResumeBreakpointedSession(oSession);
Improved Inspectors
Fixed Content-Length calculation for RequestBuilder-sent entity bodies that contain non-ASCII characters
Correctly handle drag/drop of .SAZ Session Archive files onto Session List.

  • Hi,

    This is a ongoing issue with fiddler, some times i get this error message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" IE 7, and "The page cannot be displayed" in IE6, it works fine in a normal course of action some times if you hit the back button and then press enter it starts to work fine again.

    There is no place for me to attach a fine for this other wise i could have attached the fiddler file itself.

  • Same here. My IE7 stopped completely responding to any site unless I have fiddler runing. I'm about to uninstall Fiddler2 ... I don't think it should mess with IE.
