  • Tried version 2 recently. I had tried ver 1 a long time ago and didnt stick with the tool at that time. This time, the tool is very impressive. It has quickly become one of my "go-to" tools now.

  • Bit of a problem.
    I set up the fiddler2 on a sharepoint dev machine, to actually work as a client to another sharepoint dev machine.
    And when activating fiddler to connect to http://myserver.mycompanynet.mycompany.com
    I get "network error(dns_unresolved_hostname)"
    I would guess this is not fiddler itself fiddling with stuff, but somehow failing to provide IE with the actual IP, which does resolve fine in command prompts. Odd.

  • You'll get better support if you post in the fiddler discussion group rather than on the blog.

    I'm not sure what exactly you're hitting, but Fiddler does not show the error message text you've provided. Please send me mail or post in the forum and we'll track down the problem.
