What's old is new again
Version 1.2.0.7 shipped last week and I've heard nary a peep of new bugs, so if you're running an older build, try it out.
If you haven't explored some of Fiddler's more powerful options yet, you might enjoy a blog posting I wrote about them a while back... A HTTP Detective Story (http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2005/03/12/394526.aspx)

i am having problems with a web application that is calling remote web services that require credentials. Only when i use Fiddler the web service calls fail due to authentication. I know the web services are behind an ISA server so i don't know if that has anything to do with it.

How exactly does the web service fail? What's the exact error message?
Did you uncomment the code at the end of Rules | Customize Rules | OnBeforeResponse?
