Fiddler 2.2.1.4 Released

Fiddler 2.2.1.4 has been released. https://www.fiddler2.com/dl/Fiddler2Setup.exe

  • Added FiddlerHook Firefox Extension
  • Hook all connections by default
  • Improved TextWizard
  • Improved default behavior of Find dialog
  • Allow drag/drop of files to AutoResponder to create new rules
  • Assorted bugfixes
To play with some upcoming features, type toolbar or tearoff in the QuickExec box.

  • Eric - Which UI Control do you use for the XML DOM Inspector? Is it code that you own or a reusable component from somewhere else? All I can tell is that it lives in Samples.dll.

    One quick question, how does fidler achive "Hook all connections by default"? What level in the network is it listening?

  • The Fiddler discussion group is over at http://groups.google.com/group/httpfiddler and is a better place to get questions answered.

    "Hook all connections" means that Fiddler registers as the proxy for all WinINET connectoids, including RAS adapters and dialup modems.
